I am Sr. Fiorentina D’Amore, HVM, a member of the Sisters Home Visitors of Mary, a community of religious women founded in Detroit to serve the people of Detroit. I have been ministering at Christ the King Parish since 1982. I love the ministry and I have been involved in varied parish activities, especially in Evangelization and outreach.
I invite you to come and see. We are a vibrant multicultural community with a strong evangelization approach and a welcoming spirit. We work hard to develop the interior
spiritual growth of each member, and we reach out to anyone who visits us or lives in our neighborhood. We treasure the Word of God, as it is the root and source behind everything we do. God’s Word impels us to spread the Good News through our worship, our programs of faith formation for children and adults, and our service to those in need.

In the many years I have worked at Christ the King parish, it has been my privilege to serve the Lord by serving the people of this parish. My name is Andi Kovach and I currently serve as the Office Manager at Christ the King, and will likely be the first voice you hear on the phone or the first face you see if you stop in the office. In addition to my daily office duties, I have also spent the past twenty-seven years working with our Christian Service Commission. Our parish serves God’s people by reaching out in compassion to those in need, and by advocating for changes of unjust social structures.
I invite you to stop in the office any time. It would be my pleasure to welcome you to Christ the King Parish, where you are only a stranger once. I look forward to serving you.
